Yes, it’s normal. When you change your industry the connection engine removes followers in your old industry and adds followers in your new one. If you lost followers, you probably went from an industry with a lot of people to an industry with fewer people. You can get them back either by reverting to the old industry or by searching for people in the old industry and inviting them to follow you. You can do this by sending direct messages to each of the lost followers.
