Yes, it’s normal. When you change your location the connection engine removes followers in your old location and adds followers in your new one. If you lost followers, you probably went from a location with a lot of people to a location with fewer people. You can get them back either by reverting to the old location or by searching for people in the old location and inviting them to follow you. You can do this by sending direct messages to each of the lost followers.
