Many sellers don’t want their employees, customers, vendors, and competitors to know they are for sale, so they make their listings vague. They provide a state or province, but not a street address. They provide ranges for financials, but not the exact numbers. They write very brief business descriptions with few details. The idea is to provide just enough information for a potential buyer to decide if they want more information.
