It means the member who posted the listing expects to be paid a commission (a finder’s fee) by the buyer of the business. It also means the member who posted the listing does not represent the owner of the business. In fact, the owner is probably represented by another broker and the member who posted the listing is re-listing the other broker’s listing. This is a common practice in the business brokerage and investment banking industries.
