Your data is very secure. Our servers are in very secure locations with multiple layers of redundancy. Even more importantly, we don’t store any sensitive data on our servers. For example, when you pay for a membership, we don’t receive your payment information. It is sent directly to our payment processor. Similarly, when you verify your identity, we delete the images of your ID as soon as we complete the process. Lastly, sensitive data, such as passwords, are encrypted in our databases, and no one, not even our CEO, can see them. Bottom line: we’re not a very attractive target for hackers - there’s nothing of value for a hacker to steal. We use industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption at all layers of our application, so your information is encrypted during its trip from your computer to our server, and likewise is encrypted whenever we send that data from any part of our operations infrastructure to another part.
