Absolutely. You may think you can save some money by not hiring a broker, but you’d be mistaken. First, selling a business is a very complex undertaking - much more difficult than selling real estate. And a high proportion (over half) of small businesses never sell. You’ll get a higher price, and have a much better chance of selling, if you use a broker to sell your business.
